This program’s goal is developing a program that endorses the twofold capability of the fighting bull breed: Meat and bullfighting.

Bull fighting meat ambassador: the chef Mario Sandoval, two Michelin Stars Restaurante Coque (Madrid), FACYRE* presiden and National Gastronomy Prize.
"There´s no excellent dish, there´s an excellent product. And when it comes to fighting bull meat, we are looking at the great unknown delicatessen in this country. The fighting bull meat is a very healthy and natural meat, meat coming from an animal that lives in total freedom for four years all the while feeding on natural products."
Fighting bull meat dossier: the value of sustainability
The Fighting Bull Breeders Association, being aware of the value of the fighting bull meat as an interesting food product, pushed a project forward that ultimately materialised in the signing of a a cooperation agreement with the Chairman of the Spanish Federation of Associations of Cooks and Confectioners (FACYRE).
This initial step was later developed into a larger project the goal of which is obtaining the “100% Fighting Bull Indigenous Breed” seal of approval by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing food and Environment (MAPAMA) and with it the subsequent acknowledgement of the twofold purpose of the breed: Meat and Bullfighting, an essential requirement to face the defense of the fighting breed in the Common Agricultural Policy of the EU.

What is it?
The Federation of Indigenous fighting bull breed Associations is a non-profit enterprise established in 2015 by the five association internationally acknowledged by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment for the management of the Fighting Bovine Breed family tree.
The UTCL representative for FEDELIDIA and also chairman of said entreprise is Mr. Borja Domecq Solís.

Goals:
Getting the grant for the use of the “100% indigenous fighting bull breed” from the MAPAMA as a badge which guarantees tracking and origin of the product.

MEAT ATTRACTION 2017 THE MOST IMPORTANT SPACE IN THE SPANISH MEAT SPACES
FEDELIDIA took part in MEAT ATTRACTION the most important fair of the meat market that takes place in Spain. An space for meat production operators that is currently taking place at IFEMA(Madrid) this october.
The fighting bull meat was introduced In the space allocated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing, Food and Environment(Mapama) dedicated to the promotion of breeds which can use the “100 indigenous breed” logo and a tasting was offered to Ministry representatives and attendants alike.
THE FIRST FOOD TRUCK OF FIGHTING BULL MEAT WAS INTRODUCED AT THE MOST IMPORTANT INNOVATION FAIR OF THE FOOD AND LODGING SECTOR.
Under the brand “Bravo Gourmet” the chef Mario Sandoval and the Federation of Fighting Bull´s Indigenous breed Associations”(FEDELIDIA) the first fighting bull meat food truck was introduced at the most important innovation event of the food and lodging sector which took place in Madrid last february.
The “Bravo Gourment “ food truck is really a “gastrovan” fitted for cooking and sell food at different spaces and in this case it will offer products made out of fighting bull meat. Furthermore it’s decorated with the runner-up design of the “100% indigenous breed” contest held by the Ministry of Agriculture, fishing, food and Environment in order to promote spreading of the “100% indigenous breed logo.
